Rule 001.

Be of Age.

Please be 18+ to interact with me. I had some bad experiences in the past from being a minor in RP spaces, so I prefer to only RP with adults.
I am willing to interact with underage characters with the caveat that the person playing them is an adult, and is also not engaging in inappropriate behavior with said characters. However, this must be discussed prior to any interaction.

Rule 002.

Keep Bleed to a Minimum.

IC=/=OOC. I won't take it personally if you don't like my character, and please don't take it personally if my character doesn't like yours. That being said, I don't want to participate in drama, and use my block/blacklist/ban features liberally to preserve my peace.

Rule 003.

Do Not Push Me.

I live with varying health issues, and like to keep my private life private. I may take breaks from RP for extended periods as needed, but please feel free to contact me if you're interested in RPing with me outside of XIV, such as through Discord/Google Docs/etc.

Rule 004.

Respect My Character.

PLEASE DO NOT infantilize kokochu. Yes, she does have a bit of a childish demanor. Yes, she can have emotional reactions that are not the most mature. However, she is also a businesswoman co-heading a rapidly growing business empire. She is an adult, and I would appreciate if she is respected like one out of character.

Kokochu Oronir

⸻ The Little Oronir that Could

history

      Daughter born from a secret tryst between Oronir and Dotharl, Kokochu was originally born in the safety of the Dotharl camp. However, when presented to the Khan, it was declared that she was not with a soul blessed for reincarnation.
      Worried she'd be cast to the gedan, her Mother spirited her away from the Dotharli camp, passing her into her Father's arms before disappearing back to her tribe.
      Claiming to have found her drifting in the river, her father raised her with all of the love and care, keeping her mother a secret from the rest of the tribe.
      The truth about her birth is a secret kept between tight lips, for fear of the repercussions of her existence.
      Nowadays, she lives comfortably in Radz-at-Han, running her half of a successful scale care business. She visits her Father regularly, and is always happy to lend a hand to anyone who needs assistance with their scales.

The Little Oronir
That Could

Kokochu is an oronir, as proud as she could be given her circumstances. She does her best to be neutral to all tribes despite the Oroniri reputation amongst them, though she is especially wary of the Kagon due to previous poor interactions. Additionally, she seems to have a certain discomfort with the blue associated with the Dotharl, though she often dodges any questioning as to why outside of a trusted few.

Thavnairian Princess

Due to her engagement to her lover, Kokochu is to be wed into the ruling family of Thavnair. There are those who are in favor of this marriage, celebrating the big news coming from the Meghaduta for the first time since the Final Days. Inversely, there are traditionalists who are angered by this wedding, thinking it is staining the bloodline or even allowing too much outside influence.

Scale, Tail, & Claw

The softspoken but speaking half of a scale and skin care business ran by herself and her scale sister, Jaliqai.
Kokochu herself leads the Thavnairian Branch of the business, and her shop is a bit of a hot topic among many in the bazaar. On the one hand, she is touted for providing excellent service and high quality product, and known for taking on clients of any social status and giving all equal care; on the other, rumor has it that she leveraged her friendships in high places to get preferential treatment by the head of the Ministry of Commerce to receive support in legalizing the branch.

Nightfall

A strange case, but one worth noting as a sort of myth across small pockets of fighting spaces across Eorzea.
This strange combatant appears in fighting rings or tournaments occasionally across the star, worldess, masked, and scales covered in armor, as if to obscure their appearance. They communicate only in written notes and gestures to maintain their hidden identity.
Despite their mysterious appearance, however, they have never been seen to win a fight. Although, it's strange that after Nightfall sightings, Kokochu seems to have similar injuries to the fighter afterward, claiming it was a sparring accident.

Meghanad Devanandan

Her Dearly Beloved, you could never tell that when they met, Meghanad scared her to the point of tears. However, through her home cooking, getting to know each other, and spending time together, Meghanad has been a huge part of her growth into who she is today. She often dotes on him with nicknames such as 'Priye', 'Ochir', and 'My Radiant Partner', and is her favorite topic of conversation, telling stories of his exploits. Sometimes his lack of foresight makes her nervous, but she knows he would never do anything to hurt her.

Indrajit Devanandan

A Close Confidant, Kokochu owes a lot of her success in the Thavnairian market is due to his assistance in pointing her where she needed to be, and she is eternally grateful for it. His stature and status intimidated her at first, but once she got to know him, he was one of the first people she opened up to, prior to meeting Meghanad. She respects him immensely, and is thankful for his point of view and unique perspective. He may not realize it, but she often enjoys talking with his wives about the ways he and Meghanad are similar.

Aletheia Le'soros

Koko's Number One Supporter, Aletheia was one of the first to adopt Kokochu into the Royal Family upon the news that she was dating Meghanad. Making sure she was comfortable at all corners, the wyrm at some ventures dragged her inside the Meghaduta to make her more comfortable visiting. As thanks for such hospitality and grace, Kokochu often sets aside appointment times just for her and those she chooses to bring with, alongside first peeks at new spa products. She also makes sure to always have fruit for Aletheia stocked in her home as well.

Jaliqai Qestir

A Blessing in Disguise, Jaliqai took Kokochu under her wing and helped her learn how to care for her scales. Jaliqai has more or less adopted Kokochu and her Father into her own family, and for that, both are thankful. On top of this, Jaliqai was the original owner of Scale, Tail, & Claw, bringing Kokochu on to assist her. While she doesn't get to see Jaliqai often these days, Kokochu is very fond of her and tries to send her missives and presents where she can!

Nasrin Binh Ahmet

A close friend, if it weren't for Kokochu meeting Nasrin and going to her meyhane, she would not be in the position she's in today. It's thanks to Nasrin that Kokochu met Indrajit and the rest of the Royal Family, as well as her pushing her to connect with them to expand Scale, Tail, & Claw. The Oronir is a regular at Nasrin's Rest, and the first to complete the official drinking challenge of the venue. Sometimes Kokochu is thankful that Nasrin just rolls with a lot of what she gets up to.
